ADVICE FOR OUR COUPLES ON WHEN AND HOW TO BOOK SERVICES AND SUPPLIERS
Welcome to our "What to Do Next" page! If you're reading this, it means you have booked your wedding with us and are eager to know what your next steps are.
Please take note that, aside from your photographer, cake and decor company, we will not book any other suppliers without your request. To help guide you in the process, please read the "What to Do Next" section below. We understand that many of our couples prefer to personally select and book their own suppliers for their special day. However, we have put in the effort to establish relationships with top local suppliers and can assist with all your supplier needs. Keep in mind that the more you book directly, the more responsibilities you will have to handle closer to the wedding. So why not let us handle the arrangements and minimise the stress?
When we book suppliers on your behalf, we will communicate with them, ensure they have all the necessary information, confirm final arrangements and times, and take care of their payment to ensure they show up on the day and provide the services you have requested. Please note that our quote is based on a sample quote, and we will not book anything without your prior permission. For important information on when to begin booking with us, please refer to the "What to Do Next" section below.
FLOWERS:
I recommend placing your flower order no later than 1 month in advance of the wedding. If you opt for a custom flower arrangement, we can provide you with a quote before the standard prices for the year of your wedding. It's best to wait until you have selected your bridesmaids' dresses and color scheme before finalising your flower order for the wedding day. Our flower collection is updated annually and is released in February. Any small adjustments to your order can be made up until the day before, but please keep in mind that any cancellations must be paid for and any last-minute requests cannot be guaranteed."

At the start of each March, we make sure to confirm our diary dates with our trusted beauty team . We understand that sometimes plans may change, so we allow for minor adjustments up to 1 month prior. However, if you are planning to tie the knot or host your reception at a hotel, it's important to note that their terms and conditions may require you to book any beauty services through the hotel. To avoid any confusion, please double check with us before making any bookings.

CAKE:
When you make your booking, we will send an introductory email to Love Island with your contact details. They will then reach out to you directly to discuss the delicious cake options for your event. We have chosen to have Love Island handle this process because of the endless possibilities in cake designs and flavours. They are experts in this field and will guide you in creating your dream wedding cake. Once you have finalised your design, Jo at Love Island will provide you with the cost and book the cake for you. She will also coordinate with us for delivery and set up on the day of your event, so you can relax and enjoy your special day without any worries.
It should be noted that if you are getting married or hosting your reception at a hotel, their terms and conditions may require you to book the cake through the hotel, but we will be sure to notify you of this when booking.

TRANSPORT:
If you are in need of unique transportation, such as an open-top bus or a special bridal car, we highly recommend booking it as soon as possible. However, if you simply need a standard Mercedes bridal car or minibus, our transport bookings are typically made one month in advance.

OPEN TOP BUSES:

DJ:
At the beginning of each year, I provide my DJ with a comprehensive list of dates for the upcoming wedding season. Your wedding date will automatically be added to this list, unless you inform me otherwise. Approximately one month before your big day, you will receive a DJ questionnaire form to complete. This form will ask for important details such as your first dance song. As your wedding planner, I suggest keeping the questionnaire concise and focusing on these key areas:

“Any special requests": Please provide a list of 5 to 10 songs that hold special meaning to you. These "must-have" songs will add a personal touch to your wedding playlist.

DECOR:
It can be challenging to provide a decor quote since every couple's vision varies greatly. To give you a general idea of budget, I can include an average cost. Please note that this amount does not cover any specific items. Once your date is confirmed, we will submit a booking with your details to CWT. They will then reach out to you with their comprehensive brochure and booking form. To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of €150 is required, which can be paid by completing the booking form. I recommend confirming your initial order promptly, especially for items like arches and love letters, as they have limited availability. You can make changes to your order up to a month before the wedding. At this time, you will also need to confirm final numbers and pay the remaining balance. To avoid disappointment, it is best to secure your date by paying the €150 deposit as soon as your date is confirmed.

PHOTOGRAPHERS & VIDEOGRAPHERS:
Once you have made your booking, we will send an introduction email to your photographer. In this email, we will provide them with your contact information and specify the package you have selected. They will then reach out to you directly to discuss payment details and arrange for the deposit to be paid. If you decide to upgrade for example you wish to add a videographer just pop Lee a message and he will advise on cost and availability.

While you are welcome to arrange some suppliers yourself, such as hair and makeup please be aware that doing so will place the responsibility of coordinating payments and arrangements solely on you. This decision may also result in added stress and workload as the event approaches. Please keep in mind that I cannot be held accountable for any potential issues or dissatisfaction that may arise from independently booked suppliers.
I am dedicated to providing a seamless and stress-free planning experience, which is why I require suppliers, such as photographers, videographers, decor & DJ's, to be booked through me and be one of my approved suppliers. If there is a specific supplier that you would like to work with, please discuss this with me prior to booking my services. I have carefully curated a list of reputable and reliable suppliers who are already approved at your chosen venue. It is my priority to ensure that everything runs smoothly on your special day, and I have full confidence in the professionalism of my approved suppliers. When couples opt to book their own suppliers, their behavior and service still reflects on me as the planner. As I have worked hard for over 10 years to build my 5-star reputation, I would be disappointed if your guests formed a negative opinion of me due to the actions of an outside supplier.
Please note that after Brexit, the rules for UK passport holders *working in Cyprus* have changed. It is crucial to ensure that any workers, including family and friends, have the necessary permits to work in Cyprus. Fines for illegal workers are significant, and I would hate for any issues to arise on your special day due to the employment of an illegal worker.
